Waltzingmouse Blog Waltz!
Thursday, February 17, 2011
It's blog waltz time again! The theme for February is buttons and I have two cards for you! The first one (above) uses Prima papers, grungeboard shapes, lots of sparkly embossing and shimmering mists, although unfortunately you can't really see the sparklyness on the photo. I also used my Waltzingmouse Holiday Label No 14 stamps along with the co-ordinating Nestabilities.
My second card uses what I think are Cosmo Cricket papers, although I am prepared to stand corrected on that! I bought a little pack of 6x6 papers so there isn't any name on them...
The little button border was cut out on my Craft robo and I stitched a couple of buttons onto it. I used Waltzingmouse Holiday Labels No 14 again on here along with Nestabilities Labels 14 and 17.
Thanks for visiting!

Your cards are so pretty! I love the layout of both. These WMS waltzes are so much fun! Hugs, Robyn
Both of your cards are absolutely stunning. I made two as well! lol
What fun and creative cards. Such creative designs and I'm impressed that you make TWO cards, good for you! Thanks for playing along with the Waltz this month!
Two lovely creations! love the layering on the first and the fun buttons die cut on the 2nd!
AWESOME! I love how the first card is so elegant, and the second whimsical and fun...you did both styles so well! That chain of paper buttons is just too cute! Great job today!
Super cards - love them both. I think the second is my favourite though. Brilliant!
Beautiful cards! I love the color choices you made. The winged heart on the first card is the perfect focal point and I REALLY digging the button border on the second card.
Super creations, love them both.
Have a super day

I love your first card with the wee flower buttons, sooo sweet! But also ur second card is beautiful!
What fun cards! I love the shimmer on the first and the colored papers you used on the second!
Lovely cards! I think I need to dust off my robo! Love the button detail.
What a pretty collection of cards! Love the vintage vibe on the first and the fun border on the second! Great display of buttons :)
Two beautiful cards.
Super creations.
wonderful cards and I really like all of the layering you did on the first card.
Oh how fun! Lovely creates! The first one is so perfectly elegant and the second one is just plain fun!
Oh, I love that paper button border with a few real buttons attached to it. Fabulous cards, both!

Oh my your colors are just grand!
Oh Wow! What fabulous cards! I must say the color palette in the first one is crazy beautiful. The button die cut on the second is really nifty too. So lovely.
Just beautiful....wow...love the layers.
Wow, what beauties! I love the inking of the first card, and the frame on the second!
Love the layers in the first and the gears and button arrangement in the second.
Ooooh - you made two for us! I especially liked the second one and the contrast of all the geometric shapes.
what gorgeous cards! i love how you used those label to create such a striking focal point. In case you were wondering, the second card's paper looks like Crate Paper "School Spirit" - the only reason i know that is because i own it and was looking at it the other day ;)
congratulations on your big win!!!!
Congrats on your win, and your cards are really fun: thanks for the inspiration!
